Biographical sketch:

Brian Evans is a first-year Neuroscience PhD student at Weill Cornell. He graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2020 with a B.S. in Biology. Prior to his graduate studies, Brian worked in industry for over 3 years as an Associate Scientist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. Broadly speaking, he is interested in neurodegeneration and leveraging animal and cell-based modeling to study molecular mechanisms of disease.  He is also very interested in studying RNA biology and RNA splicing as it relates to neurodegeneration. Outside of school, Brian enjoys baking, hiking, and exploring new places in the city
