Accelerating BioVenture Innovation (ABI)

ABI is a 12-week course and training program in biomedical entrepreneurship. ABI builds teams around patented technologies originating from Weill Cornell Medicine, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Rockefeller University.


IP & Biotech Due Diligence Workshops

The IP & Biotech Due Diligence Workshops teach scientists and clinicians the steps necessary to turn a business plan built around a scientific discovery/invention into an investable startup company. The Workshops are taught by experts in the IP field and take place twice a year. Interested participants are required to sign up in advance of the classes.


Computation and Medical Device Interest Workshop

The BioVenture eLab regularly hosts a computation and medical device interest group in the new BioVenture eLab MakerSpace. These programs are designed to encourage innovative/inventive thinking in the computational & medical device space and to encourage collaboration between our inventors.


Drug Development: From Molecule to Prescription

This course has been designed in collaboration with drug development experts from Roche and provides a foundation of integrated knowledge of the multi-disciplined process of developing a new medication. It includes real world challenges encountered in the areas of discovery, development, manufacturing, global regulatory approval and commercialization of new medicines. In addition, the impact of emerging technologies to healthcare and the development process will be considered.
