Biographical sketch:

Marimar is a fifth-year GSK student researching therapy-induced senescence in liposarcoma and breast cancer models in the lab of Dr. Andrew Koff at MSKCC. She is deeply convinced that diverse representation and opportunities for underrepresented students in the STEM fields are crucial in fueling scientific innovation and collaboration. Marimar enjoys cooking, scuba diving, and reading in her free time.
